What is Sealed Deck?
This is a great format if you look forward to the excitement of checking out new cards and playing without being required to bring your own pre-built deck.
Unlike constructed games—where you arrive with your strategically created deck—in a sealed deck tournament, you build a new deck from six unopened booster packs at the start of the event.
Rules
RulesBuild a deck from 6 unopened booster packs. Bonus cards included in kit can be used in your deck or sideboard.
Deck Size
Deck SizeMinimum of 40 cards with no maximum, as long as you can shuffle your deck unassisted. Basic lands will be available for free to all participants.
Sideboard
SideboardAll cards from the 6 boosters packs that were not put in the main deck.
There is no limit to number of individual cards that can be played. For example, having 5 or more of an individual card is permitted.
Prizing: 2 Play Booster packs per head added to prizing from Outlaws of Thunder Junction!
Pre-registration helps enable us to facilitate events better. If you pre-register before April 1st, the price is discounted to $35. If you pre-register from April 1st through April 11th, the price is $40. If you do not pre-register by the end of the day April 11th, you may still participate in the event, but there will be a $3 day-of registration fee added to your entry to the event.
